The Gettysburg Festival proudly announces a merger with one of Gettysburg's most cherished annual events-the Gettysburg Brass Band Festival.
The 11th annual event will be held June 19-22, 2008 and will coincide with the opening of the overall Gettysburg Festival~Celebrating America. And what better way to "Celebrate America" than with the traditional and historic, stirring sounds of brass! Strike up the band!
Come to Historic Downtown Gettysburg for a grand celebration of the 11th Annual Gettysburg Brass Band Festival. Continuous performances of brass band concerts begin Thursday evening and crescendo through the weekend, until the final notes are sounded Sunday evening. Performance venues throughout Gettysburg highlight some of the town’s most historic and charming backdrops. They include Lincoln Square, Gettysburg College, and the Gettysburg National Military Park. Attendees are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
